Internet Marketing Insights – The 3 Markets in Your Business
The three markets in your business.
Today is day 2 of my 30 days of videos, and first of all, I just want to say that I’m in my work clothes, I am ready to go to work.
I’m just noting that because I want to show you that this is the kind of stuff that can get done in your business before you go to work in the morning. You can work this kind of a project around a full-time job easily because, really, a full-time job is 40 hours; if you got another, you know 5, 10, 15, or 20 hrs. a week for your business, the better.
Eventually you’re going to balance that out where, your job is going to come down in hours or be eliminated so that you can work full time, online and that’s the goal for me anyways.
Eventually that’s were I will be, and I would love for you to join me.
So today I wanted to talk about the three different markets in your business that you’re going to be working in.
When you are in business you’re always looking for leads and you always want to have your eye on your target market.
Now, there’s three different types of markets that you’ll be working in;
There will be;
- your cold market which is complete strangers who don’t know you, you don’t know them.
- Your hot market is your family and friends – people who know, like and trust you.
- Your warm market is the market that you will be developing through your newsletter and any other social media that you’re going to be working on. Your warm market consists of people who feel like they they know you, they like you and they trust you. These are the people that you’re communicating with most now.
Cold market can turn into warm market, can turn into hot market, obviously that’s just the way it works.
If you’re communicating well with your audience, then you’re going to turn a lot of your leads into hot leads, as you develop the relationship with them
That’s what this whole entire marketing system is about is about relationships.
You really have to learn how to develop relationships with people, with all different kinds of people, and they’re from all different walks of life, and they’re all at different levels of learning.
You might be a brand-new person to the Internet, you might be completely new and don’t know anybody and don’t know how to use the technology or you might be more advanced at getting around different programs and software and so on and pick things up easily.

But everybody needs community and so, when you are in a community, you can develop those relationships that will turn into your hot market eventually, but it’s not just about the sales, though!
It’s about the relationships – it really and truly is about relationships; getting to know your audience, getting to know the people that you’re writing to through your newsletter all the time, is really really important, and even more important is letting them get to know you. It’s also key and you’re probably going to learn a little bit more about me as we go along;
So this has been day 2 of my 30 day video adventure, and anyways, I’m on my way to work now. I have my shoes on and I gotta jet.
